The author

Margot Bellamy

Margot Bellamy is the author of the Millhaven Cat Cafe Mysteries. She writes cozy mysteries for the love of the genre: small towns that keep their secrets, warm kitchens, clever puzzles, and cats who notice what the humans miss.

Her books are clean by design, no gore, no on-page violence, no explicit romance, just good people, a few very bad secrets, and a puzzle you can solve alongside the characters. She writes each one to be a small act of comfort, the kind of story you curl up with on a cold evening. There is always at least one cat involved.

"In Millhaven, the ground keeps its secrets longer than the people do. Come the spring thaw, it gives them back."
